Did you read the article in the Courier last week about Brechins shops and the Couriers Fresh Start campaign.
Since opening Coopers Candy, I've definitely been shopping locally more, and I've realised just how many fantastic little businesses we have right here in town. Whether it's popping into Kepties for a cake or pie at lunchtime, picking up my favourite cheese and crackers from the Gourmet Grocer, visiting the flower shop, the chemists, the newsagents, or so many other independent shops, there's always a friendly face and a warm welcome.
It reminds me of when I was younger and loved wandering around the town, browsing the shops and seeing what I could find.
If you don't usually shop in town, why not take an hour one day and have a wander? You might discover a business you never knew was there, find something unique, or simply enjoy a chat with the people behind the counter.
As a small business ourselves, we really appreciate every customer, whether you've been with us from day one or you've only just discovered us. Every visit, every purchase, and every recommendation helps keep our high street alive.
