Ca****la Lacensis Choir have travelled all the way from Maria Laach Abbey in Germany to give tonight’s Festival Finale at Brecon Choir Festival. Led by Pater/Father Phillip they will perform Bach & Mendelssohn: The Eternal Legacy.

We don’t think it’s a coincidence that the Abbey was founded in 1093 - the same year as Brecon Cathedral. It has to be said the Benedictines are beautiful singers…

Some tickets are available on the door (also available on the Festival website) so come along if you can. They sound incredible in rehearsal!

Beautiful, sassy, supremely gifted, unapologetically herself and so, so, so Welsh. The word iconic is used so often and so casually now but Bonnie Tyler truly was it. What a huge and unexpected loss. Condolences to everyone who knew and loved her. I really really wish I'd heard her sing the blues live...💙
