The blossom on my pear tree looks so beautiful this evening. 💗

Sorry I've been so quiet on here over the past couple of weeks. We have recently moved house and I've started a new job, making life a little chaotic with no time to get crafty. Jon is in the process of decorating my very own craft room and I can't wait to share pictures with you when it's all done.

Happy Saturday 🏵️
Last week I ordered an embroidery kit of Etsy, it was the best decision I've made in a while! As someone who likes to keep busy and as we are currently unable to go out and do anything, I wanted something to do whilst sat in front of the telly in the evenings. I'm now hooked and another kit is on its way to me!
It is far from perfect, but as an embroidery novice I'm over the moon with how it has turned out and I can't wait to hang it up in my craft room in my new home.
I would recommend embroidery to anyone. There are so many small businesses on Etsy who make and sell these wonderful kits. They come with everything you need and have really easy to follow instructions. Go get crafting!

They will be making there way onto my Esty shop very soon.

On Sunday we make pom poms 💚!
I've had so much fun today playing with different fabrics and wools. It's been so long since I've had time to get creative and I loved every minute of it! I've now got a week off work and I can't wait to get my teeth stuck into creating my first range of products. I've got so many ideas that I can't wait to share with you all, watch this space!

Sewing and crafting has been my way of relaxing and de-stressing for a while, and since the country went into lockdown at the beginning of 2020 I have spent more time behind my sewing machine.

When Boris announced lockdown 3.0 I decided I wanted to learn a new craft to keep me occupied in the evenings. Today I finally got round to trying crochet. 🧶

My wonderful Mum gave me my first lesson over facetime. I was rubbish! Does anyone else find it difficult to hold the crotchet hook and yarn, and do everything else at the same time? Please can someone give me some tips!

How cute is my yarn basket! It is one of the many fabric baskets I have made over the past couple of weeks to store all my crafting goodies. 💚
