Out of the Office 🌿
For the past couple of years, I’ve worried about taking a holiday in the middle of wedding season. As a small business owner, it’s never easy stepping away, especially when it means turning down weddings.
But I often remind myself why I left my successful career in London to follow my dream of running my own florist business. I wanted to build a career I was passionate about while being present for my boys as they grew up.
Their childhood is passing by so quickly, and time with them is priceless. This summer feels especially significant as my eldest has finished primary school and is about to start secondary school. Everyone tells me this is the summer to make the most of him before everything changes, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
It’s already been an incredible wedding season, and this year is even more special as Elisha’s Floral Design approaches its 10th anniversary. We’ve also been working behind the scenes on something incredibly exciting, and I can’t wait to share it with you very soon.
