We just wanted to say a little something about yesterday and the break in. ...
The locals, local businesses and police have all been very, very supportive. Other local businesses offering to share their CCTV of the night of the individuals. The police stayed outside the shop all night until we got there. Locals walking past and reaching out to us on social media to help and offer their support. Our team pulled together and we are very grateful and proud of our team.
Thank you to the people of Pencoed community. Your kindness and support turned a very stressful and upsetting situation, a little less stressful by all your support.
We are absolutely devastated that anyone would and could do this. We are a small, family run business and the loss and damage is a lot for any small business to absorb, although it could have been a lot worse.
The shop is our baby and we have had it for 7 years, worked extremely hard and have been met with hurdles from the beginning including after just opening, COVID hit. But, we kept going with determination, and then all our hard work and determination was wiped out in one night by a selfish and greedy act of thieves.
Thank you for all your continued support.
The police will catch up with them and we are determined to get back to normal after this selfish act.
