Great day at Telford Steam Railway 1940’s event, thanks to everyone who visited my stall; lovely to see so many people dressed for the occasion. We do it all again tomorrow from 10am, so call in to Horsehay Village Hall where there’s a fabulous selection of vintage clothes and accessories, jewellery, homeware, militaria and books for sale. All set up at Telford Steam Railway open 10am-4.30pm. We are in Horsehay Village Hall with all the vintage traders, Shropshire Scale Modellers, Jeep Johnson will be singing this afternoon too. Five minute walk to the steam railway for train rides.

Horsehay Bowls Club are based here too, they are playing the Viv Lomas junior cup today, this is an under 15’s group, they are always looking for new members so why don’t you come along and see what they’re up to?

Getting ready for this event next weekend. Telford Steam Railway is well worth a visit any time but for the 40’s weekend there’s so much happening. The vintage stalls are in Horsehay Village Hall just a few minutes walk from the railway, so pop along and say hello I’ll have a range of ladies and gents fashion for sale. We’ve just joined the Severnside Lindy class this evening at Coalport and had the best time - if you’ve been thinking about this, just do it! It doesn’t matter if you’ve never danced before, Amanda and Rich are great teachers and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. It’s a great way to switch off from everything as you can only think about the steps you’re learning! See you there next week?
