We always like to do our bit to promote events in Bridgwater where we can to make sure as many people as possible know what's happening in the town.

This weekend we have Summer Sounds at Blake Gardens

🎶 Bridgwater is turning up the volume this summer!

Looking for live music, great atmosphere and a fantastic day out? Blake Gardens is the place to be.

A full day of FREE entertainment featuring live music, food, classic cars, market stalls and family fun. Expect performances from Rizen, Vermin King, Petitions Band, Strange Company, Slackrr, Tim Whyte & The Deadbeats, The Troll Hunters, Sonder, Elk Ilk, Nomad Lizard and Break The Slate.

Sarah's back on duty today after a lovely break at the Rock Oyster festival over the weekend.

When you run a business it's never very far away from your thoughts, especially when you get to meet and be inspired by a lovely group of Cornish makers that had a pop up at the event and then stop off in Bude on the way home to find some shops like ours to visit.

We hope you're all geared up for a fun weekend. 😊

In our little world one bestie is away at a music festival... The other is running the shop today.

Sue and Sarah love this print by Harriet Popham. In fact we love all of Harri's work and it features on the walls of both our homes. This particular print is a popular choice for friends to gift for birthdays and special occasions. It seems to hit the perfect note with lots of customers.

We hope you've all had a great weekend and enjoyed the lovely weather.

It's a rare day in shop land today as Sarah and Sue are both in. We need to close the shop for half an hour this morning for an important meeting, which starts at 1030.

Other than that one of us will be available to help with your purchases and wrap your gifts if needed.

Still on our summer hours, open 9am to 3pm.
