URGENT UPDATE! PRODUCT RECALL!

Whirlpool have issued an immediate recall of multiple Hotpoint & Indesit washing machines. Appliances manufactured between October 2014 and February 2018 that are on the list shown are affected. Whirlpool advise to stop using these models and unplug due to a fire safety risk. If you do need to use them they recommend cold water cycles on 20C or lower as this significantly reduces the risk.

Check your model number and serial number. This can be found behind the washing machine door.

What to do next: Visit https://washingmachinerecall.whirlpool.co.uk or call 0800 316 1442 to check if your machine is affected.

What will Whirlpool do: They will offer you either:
1. A Free-of-charge like-for-like replacement washine mahcine.
2. A free-of-charge in-home repair of your existing appliance.

Please note: The website and phone lines will be experiencing heavy traffic!

We will be contacting our own customers directly whom we believe to have an affected model.
