It’s always a privilege to have so many interesting, kind and generous people walk through the door of No9 this weekend. Treasured friends, new customers, our amazing regular customers and almost always with a story to share.
Today a mum came into the shop with her daughter and they chose some books from the cat and dog display in the window. Mum happened to mention that she has been looking for the book A street cat named Bob.
Fairly sure that we had a copy a search was launched and the book was found, much to the delight of both mum and daughter who said they would share reading it together. ❤️.. then the icing on the cake was to share our stories of the cats that we loved, look at photos and compare notes.
And there it is…. Books bring people together, to talk things over, share views, ( some we don’t always agree on) share knowledge to laugh, there is always lots of that in the shop and sometimes to share our worries. The connections are priceless. As are the people.
