Season 2023 :
Well what a year !!! My target
for this year was to compete in some matches and gain some experience.
I took part in some opens, club matches and the club species hunt .
When I committed to the species hunt, I had it all worked out in my head, working with my team mate Ollie Mears. It turned out to be the most challenging event I’ve taken part in so far, competing against some great anglers.
With all the weather we’ve had this year, it turned out to be more challenging than I first realised. A great comp for anyone to take part in. I thought I would be able to do much more, but it turned out to be a big commitment. Which is great really because this year will bring new challenges.
After committing to the club and doing what they had to offer, this year I have achieved the following:
The cod cup (1969)
Presented by J.Haynes esq
The Paul Kerslake memorial trophy
Flounder
The Alan Moulding memorial trophy
Sole
Team species hunt : 57 species
Individual species hunt : 46 species
And my most favourite achievement of all :
The Chesil champs 2023 winner 🏆
Which still to this day blows me away !!!!!
I want to say Thankyou to everyone that has helped me learn along the way. I have made some wonderful friends and can’t wait to do more with you all next year.
More thanks to :
