Anyone else getting excited for the return of Bake Off? We can't wait for the drama of the tent to be back, but in the meantime, we've been pretty busy in our own kitchen.

Perfecting something new yet classic. Something warming with a slight tingle. Something luxurious for the outdoors.

It might be back to school for some, but for us, it's business as usual in the Firepot kitchen. Our team are chopping, peeling, stirring, tasting, sweating (onions), simmering, and of course dehydrating, to make sure we can fuel all your autumn adventures.

Autumn means more morning like this. Warm breakfasts with coffee, wearing cosy layers and breathing in crisp fresh air. Don't tell summer but it's our favourite season.

We've all been there. You think you've found the perfect spot for a night under canvas. And then, at 3am, you realise the wind has changed direction for the third time, your pillow made of down jackets stuffed into a dry bag is inexplicably at your feet, and the ground is definitely not flat.

At least you've brought snacks. Keep 'em next to your head torch and earplugs (Mike's snoring again) and they might just make a bad night's sleep feel a little better.

We've been having a busy summer. So busy in fact that we've struggled to keep up with the demand for our meals. Needing to find a solution, we put our heads together and came up with a fix that made our founder John really happy - build more dryers.

We've now added six more dehydrators to our kitchen meaning we can keep your fuelling your adventures all year long. And John got to spend days up a stepladder so everyone's a winner.
