🌿 We’re Hiring: Shop Assistant 🌿

Join our team! We’re looking for key team members to help shape the future of our growing, independent, sustainable shop. Fast-paced, hands-on, ever-changing and full of opportunities - this is your chance to make a real impact!

This is a role for someone who loves people, loves good food and thrives in a busy, dynamic environment.

🐛 Who you are:
• Friendly, confident and enthusiastic around people
• Enjoy working in a small team
• Passionate about our shop, good food, community and sustainability
• Takes pride in excellent customer service and food hygiene
• Excited to contribute ideas and creativity to help the shop thrive
• A quick thinker - able to problem-solve on the go

🦋 What you’ll be doing:
• Serving customers and refilling their bottles and containers
• Keeping the shop clean and tidy, following food hygiene practices
• Assisting with deliveries, refilling shelves and day-to-day stock management
• Talking with customers about products, their uses and ethical or environmental benefits
• Posting fun, informative and positive content on social media

🌼 The role:
• Reliable and flexible - able to cover (but not limited to) Saturdays or Mondays each week on a rotational basis
• Physically fit - able to lift heavy stock up and down stairs (25kg sacks), move quickly and keep up in a fast-paced environment
• 16+ hours over two days per week to start, with potential to grow
• £12.25 per hour, rising with the living wage in April
• Must be 18+ and able to work flexibly throughout the week
