It's The Morning of Cross Country day @ Defender Burghley Horse Trials and we hope you are Inspired 🙌
If we are going to run next Sat we need additional entries to make the day viable.

Without sufficient entries, we will make the decision on Monday whether to move the HT from next week and add it on'to the ODE scheduled for Sunday October 11th?

We're happy to do this but I'm aware it will be a blow for all those currently entered.

If this is the case, all current Entries will have the option to transfer to October 11th or be refunded.

We normally have a large volume of entries 48 hrs before closing date (which is about now)

All our volunteers & helpers are waiting in the wings, fence dressers, food wagon, donated prizes, ambulance and a zilllion other thing all ready to go!.. we just need a few more of you on that start list!

We hope that we do see you all on Saturday.

We are looking for FULL TIME and PART TIME members to join our equine team!
Giving an outstanding customer service experience will be your main priority. In turn we offer great product training to help you further your skills in a fun and varied environment.

About you:

✅ Positive attitude
✅ Keen eye for detail
✅ Excellent communication skills
✅ Strong initiative & self-motivation
✅ Equestrian knowledge ESSENTIAL
Full time members will work on a rota basis which includes weekend work, part time will cover mostly weekends and holiday cover.

Retail & Warehouse Assistant - FULL & PART TIME

We are looking for someone to join our team, working between the retail store and warehouse. The role involves manual lifting, placing orders, taking incoming deliveries, monitoring stock levels and delivering a high standard of customer service.

✅ Retail & customer service experience would be advantageous.
✅ Ability to work as part of a team to efficiently operate in the store and warehouse.
✅ The full time position will involve fork lift truck work (training given).
✅ Must be able to work Saturdays & Sundays.
