By having your babies hands and feet cast you can freeze those precious moments to treasure forever; every crease, every crinkle and every wrinkle! You will come to my house or I can come to you for an small extra charge where I will take your babies cast, I will then take it away, cast it, paint it and frame it. The whole process takes about 2 weeks. You will also get to choose the colour you wo

So have no fear it will not harm you or your baby. I also do baby bumps capturing your bump in low and high def styles. Please ask if you would like more information on baby bump castings. Let's talk about frames.

Your favourite casting has to be a child's hand and foot in a frame and I enjoy meeting all your new babies and talkative toddlers. But did you know these frames are also great for couples, families, dog paw prints and siblings too.

So what are my choices?

First of all you need to decide where your casting will be placed for your casting to fit in with your home interior.

Once you have decided you will know what colour frame is needed. I will show you the ones available in your colour range.

It's then time to chose the colour of your casting. Feel free to ask about colour combinations.

Then lastly how you would like your casting to be displayed in the frame.

How long does it take to set?

This all depends on how large the mould is and if cold or warm water is used. For baby and toddler castings it takes around 20-30 secs to set.

What if my child won't sit still?
I'm a qualified nursery practioner so I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to distract your little ones.

What is alginate?

Alginate is made from seaweed also is gentle on the skin and smells of mint. It has been ce tested. There are others on the market that haven't been tested and smell of fish.

Children refer to the alginate as magic porridge so it's stuck. The magic is because it changes colour as it sets and resembles pink porridge to start.

How long will the appointment take?

Your appointment with take between 45mins-60mins.
This includes talking through how the cast will be taken, how you will place your hand in the mould and the finish of your life casting.

Can I have it re cast if I don't like how the fingers are on my or my childs casting?

You can but you will be charged again.

If I think the casting is not up to my standard I will cast again free of charge. This will include if a child wiggles their fingers.

I would like to introduce myself for those that have recently come across my page.

My name's Lucy and i started life casting when my children were 2 and 4 as there was nothing around where I lived at the time. They were my models and very patiently they let mummy cast their hands and feet perfecting my skills.

My favourite part of life casting has to be meeting each and everyone of you. I love hearing your stories too, some are a celebration of a newborn baby, a first day at school, the last day at school, a family togetherness, anniversaries, grandparents castings and those of you that brave illness.

I love every minute of it.

Fast forward my children are now 11 and 14 and I love that I can see the how much they have grown through their hand castings.
