🎪 WE’RE ALL SET UP AT THE RISE FESTIVAL TODAY! 🎪
If you’re looking for something to do with the kids as we head towards the end of the summer holidays, come and find Miyori at the RISE Festival today at Monk Bretton Priory, Barnsley, powered by young people for young people with Jolly Good Communities!

⚽ JOIN IN ZONE
Perfect for burning off some energy or trying something completely new! There are loads of hands-on activities, from football and sports to aerial acrobatics. Whether they already have a favourite hobby or fancy discovering a new one, there’s plenty to have a go at.
🎨 GET CREATIVE ZONE
Time to get messy and make something! There are recycling challenges, badge making, friendship bracelets and lots more, with volunteers around to lend a hand or provide a little inspiration. You might even get to take a little piece of RISE home with you. 🥰
🌈 SENSORY ZONE
A lovely calmer area where children can simply be themselves and explore at their own pace. There’s messy play, sensory trays, SEND circus activities, toddler crafts and SEND circus acts, with no pressure or expectations, just a chance to explore and have fun.
🧘🏻WELLBEING ZONE
Need a little break from all the excitement? The Wellbeing Zone is all about providing a calm space to relax and unwind with friends. There’ll be activities to try, things to keep your brain busy, or you can simply use it as somewhere to escape the noise for a while. Something for everyone, whether you want to get involved or just have a bit of quiet time. 🥰
🎤 KARAOKE OPEN MIC
Fancy a song or two? 🎶 Karaoke will be running between sets on the Open Mic stage, so if you or the kids fancy having a go, just speak to one of the friendly volunteers in the stage area and get your name down!

🍔 FREE FOOD
Free meals (1000 available) are available for 0 - 18 year olds, with a choice of options from Bears Street Food, particularly handy if you have a fussy eater! 😂 Just remember to pre book your meal voucher as they’re going quickly.
There’s loads happening today, and thanks to funding from The Great Childhood Ambition and Healthy Holidays, your family day out is completely FREE so hopefully we’ll see some of you here!!! Don’t forget to come say hi to us too!
