It has been brought to my attention today that some potential graffiti has been seen close to Brighouse town centre stating that a 'Wiccan Crochet Store' will be opening soon...

I would like to state that this categorically has nothing to do with me and is not associated with either The Knitting Vixen or Vixen & Veil, whatever the reason for the writing on the wall (or fence, in this case).

At the Knitting Vixen we are very much inclusive and welcome fibre crafters of all kinds, and all religions, not just crocheters who happen to be Wiccan! 😉😆 I'm not Wiccan, and I'm mostly a knitter!

Today is the day I announce to you all where we'll be opening!!

116, Commercial Street, Brighouse! The former estate agent building on the very corner, opposite Aldi!

I will announce an opening date soon, and I'll be posting regular updates as we decorate and fit out the shop. Until then you can enjoy this picture of my adorable foxy keyring! 🖤🦊🖤

Calling all crafters from Brighouse and the surrounding area! 📢📣📢📣📢📣 Whether you knit, sew, crochet, cross stitch, or do paper crafts we would love it if you would join us on Wednesday afternoons for our new Craft Social Group!

When? Every Wednesday afternoon between 2-6pm starting 10th June

Where? The George, Brighouse

The page has been quiet for a while for which we can only apologize... The reason is that it's taken longer than expected to secure our premises, despite getting the ball rolling back in January. By now you will probably know that another yarn shop has announced they're opening in Brighouse. We just want to let you know that despite this being a massive disappointment to us we ARE still opening in Brighouse soon. Hopefully there's going to be enough custom for us both. At The Knitting Vixen we will be leading the way with natural fibres and hand dyed yarn, including our own in house brand of small batch hand dyed yarn. We'll be sharing lots more information soon, including our exact location, so follow, share, and keep your eyes peeled!

We will be stocking a variety of well known and well loved yarn brands including KnitCo and Yarn Art.

Whether you are a knitter or crocheter we are confident you will be able to find yarn that you love when you visit us!
