I'm one of 'those' people who really enjoy gift wrapping - I think the appearance of the package is part of the present. I always wrap my items in Cornflake Cat Orange 🐱🐱🐱 - my intention is not just to add a little joy, but also to reduce plastic packaging. Every little helps! πŸ™πŸ’‹πŸŒ³πŸŒ

I really love the contrasting apple green cuffs and toes on these socks, but I'm not sure everyone shares my enjoyment of bright contrasts. I'd love to hear people's preferences - bright contrasts or all one colour? These yarns were both from Drops Fabel, always reliably nice to knit with and durable to wear.

This was an interesting yarn from Opal, Hundertwasser Green Town. As is so often the case with self-striped yarns, it can be a bit of a surprise how it knits up. This one reminds me of camouflage pattern, obviously you would probably have to be hiding amongst the marigolds 😝🌼🌻

Who doesn't love a rainbow?! I like to cheer up my feet in the colder months with brightly coloured socks, so very pleased with this yarn from the West Yorkshire Spinners.

If you'd like to brighten someone's winter feet, I have these in medium and large sizes, coz why shouldn't larger feet have fun too?

I love getting things through the post and it's even nicer when it's wrapped like a present. All the items I make are carefully gift-wrapped in Cornflake Cat colours, even my cards as I've taken the Naked Cards Pledge.
