More about us and the wraps!
We are two girls who are passionate about bees and food! We have been using our beeswax wraps in order to cut down on our plastic waste and would now like to share our beautiful wraps to help others do the same. The wraps can be used in replace of cling film and tin-foil, and keep food fresh in the fridge or for packed lunches. They are anti-bacterial, reusable and made from 100% natural beeswax from our very own bees in West Sussex. The wraps can last up to a year and simply need to be cleaned with cold water after use, cracks and stains are normal and when they start to look tired the wraps can be revived by placing in the oven at 80 degrees for 5minutes.
We make 3 different packs: Bold, Beautiful and Brighton Blues, please see the pictures for examples. Each pack contains a small; 8 inch, Medium, 10 inch and Large 12 inch diameter wrap. We hand make each and every one, fabric is locally sourced so patterns will vary within each pack. We tie the wraps with natural string which you can use to secure food or store the wraps in a draw. They are then posted in a brown envelope which can also be recycled.
