NEW COLLECTIION!! - SHOGADO

We are absolutely delighted to introduce our newest range from Shogado.

Founded in 1964, Shogado make shikishi, tanzaku, wahoncho, and other washi paper products for all over Japan and we are so lucky to be able to add them to our statioonery range. They produce Japanese stationery by traditional methods and are spreading them to the world.

Famous washi paper such as Echizen and Kurotani are used as materials.
Each product is made from highly skilled craftsman in Kyoto. Traditional craftsmanship and materials are essential for their company.

We have a introduced the gorgeous range of memo books, some of which double up beautifully as a pocket sketch pad, matching the beautifully smooth Brush Pens. We have also added their traditional Origami products to our already gorgeous range.

We are delighted at the addition of the Book Ephemera range of bookmarks to add to our already gorgeous range of traditional bookmarks. Use your favourite movie or subject to mark your place. We even have Dracula and Frankenstein ranges ready for your October reading!

It's back and more popular than ever!!! This year we are offering the much sough after Sport 'Glow' with all nib sizes available from Extra Fine to Double Broad and all in between.

This year we have added an 'Experience' option which allows you to book without committing to a nib size (you can try the nibs before making the one you like). This option also allows you to buy a friend or loved one the gift of a very special experience.

OUR NEW COLLECTION!!!

Please say a big hello to Lydiamae! A wonderful local Sussex Artist who has joined our ever growing family of Sussex Creatives!

Lydia is a self taught illustration artist working from bricks and mortar shop/studio in Steyning, West Sussex, UK. She is predominantly inspired by nature, children (particularly her Son), books, vintage things, music and loved ones.

She creates her original work using Gouache paints and then has the printed products made in the UK as sustainably and eco consciously as possible. She is a greeting card maker and design gifts and prints also. She avoids unnecessary plastic packaging on her products and uses recycled tissue paper and stickers to wrap her Cards and prints.

Lydia has her own little shop in Steyning which makes her one of our extended 'Creative' family as a well loved 'Sussex Artist'.
