Silver foiled heart shaped sequins.. we fell in love when we found a strand of old battered vintage ones, so found these seqins and had many....many of them made!!

👁️Tis the season!!👁️
These mystical glass enamelled copper eyes are common place in India for use in adorning various god statues and idols, the eyes are freshened up for high days and holidays!....often a bit wonky, but that's part of the charm!!

We have always loved them, but thought on this trip they would make super earrings,we had them set in a chunky bobble silver setting and plated them in 18ct gold ....and they really do look fabulous!

The evenings are drawing in now, time for cosy socks and soft lighting!!....these traditionally made Shanghai lanterns cast a soft glow when used as a lampshade, prettiest hanging lantern without light too. We have them on festoon lights in our home along with paper lanterns.
Made with a wood and iron frame and hand painted mesh fabric, coated with beeswax, gorgeous designs, long traditions and skill go into these, that's why they are so beautiful!

I LOVE these pure cotton scarves, the combination of the woven check with the kitschy printed floral is just delightful!!

Usually worn as headscarves in tribal areas of Southern China and Northern Vietnam, but looks great, and feel soft and comfy around your neck too!
