Warhammer Brighton will celebrate its 38th Anniversary as a bastion of Warhammer from Saturday 26th September to Sunday 4th October.

The Golden Throne has deemed Brighton worthy of the Holy Relics that will be available throughout this Anniversary.

More details will follow for the Faithful and Devout.

Our first two entries for last months ‘Twisted Rage’ Theme are shared by Caspar (11) who painted his Beastman with Red and Bronze armour, while his Dad Simon painted his with Bright Yellow armour. An great effort from both!

We’ll share more entries in the coming days. In the meantime you can pick up your Mini of the Month in Store. Simply head in, build the miniature in Store and it’s yours to keep!

To take part in the painting challenge this Month, use either the Mini of the Month or another single miniature and paint it in the theme of “Brutally Cunning”.

It’s Brighton Pride and we’re still open as usual for all your hobby needs!

Mini of the Month is available today and we will be posting the entries of last Month’s painting challenge of Twisted Rage over the coming days! This month the theme for the Challenge is ‘Brutally Cunning’.

+++ TRY SOMETHING NEW MONTHLY PAINTING CHALLENGE +++

I’d like to extend a huge thank you for everyone’s submissions to this month’s challenge!

Below are some awesome representations of this months twisted rage theme.

John R (14) Went for a twisting shifting colour pattern a with a pop of gore with a string of viscera hanging off the mace on this creatively painted mini of the month.

Jacob S (8)’s model could not be more bursting with khornate rage! as you can see from the smoothly applied base coat of red on the skin picking out the face with a pink tone for contrast. Great Job!

Holly’s submission has wonderful layering on the fur and subtly on theme red face with great pops of colour on the bright yellow horns as well as an awesome shinny metallic green gr***de.

Sheena decided to use a Night Lord Raptor for her equally terrifying and Magnificent submission. You can really see the care and effort put into this fantastic model with added gore on the claws and sprouting spreading corruption emanating from the model on the base that’s really paid off to hit the theme of twisted rage!

Your monthly hobby side quest for a low-stakes painting adventure!
Want motivation to join other hobbyists in Brighton and test out a new skill, a fresh technique, or a wild colour scheme? Welcome to our new monthly challenge. There is no pressure and no judgements, just a friendly, supportive space to think outside the box and celebrate the craft.

This Month’s Theme: Brutally Cunning

How to take part:
1. Pick your mini: Grab the free Mini of the Month when it drops this Saturday 1st August, or use any single miniature from your collection that captures the essence of "Brutally Cunning"
2. Try something new: Step outside your comfort zone! Experiment with blood effects, practice painting different flesh tones, or try out a new contrast paint.
3. Bring it in: Bring your finished miniature to the shop by Monday, 31st August. We will take a quick photo of your work and feature it right here on our page gallery!
