Well, what a beautiful journey that was. So many fine memories, so many connections made, so many bands started , and such beautiful music inspired by and shared with everyone who we had the great privilege to meet in our many years here. Its been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. The journey is not over, tomorrow our fine friends Siesta Crafts start the transformation of the shop into something beautiful and special too, watch this space and their socials for what's to come very soon. Hi all, it's time for Adaptatrap to adapt again. We've had an absolutely wonderful journey in our almost 32 years in the shop, but it's time to hand over.

We are delighted to announce that one of our oldest and most trusted suppliers, Siesta Crafts, will be stepping in from mid-June. As well as an excellent range of instruments, they will be bringing their beautiful Fair Trade goods from around the world.

The shop will keep the same knowledgeable staff, will still be supplying handmade koras, and will be continuing with drum repairs. Siesta are keeping Adaptatrap as an active presence both in store and online, so do stay with us here for the next chapter — and you can follow
Siesta Crafts for the wider story.
We're sure Siesta will be a great addition to the North Laine, and we thank all of you for sharing the journey with us so far. We look forward to seeing you in the shop in its new chapter very soon.
