BBC Young Folk Award winner invites you on a journey through stories of their life, while opening space for you to explore your own.
Blending folk traditions and protest song with their perspective as a q***r autistic person, this show examines identity, gender, disability, survival, and joy in community with warmth, humour, and honesty.
Maddie’s shows are more than a gig – they’re a welcoming, inclusive space for connection, creativity and community, especially for those who don’t feel at home in traditional live music settings. We’re delighted that they will be stopping by Dream Street Records as part of their Songs and Stories Tour.
Information:
– Doors open at 6.30pm and Maddie’s performance will begin at 7pm. It will last for around 60 minutes.
– This event is a mix of standing and seating. You can pre-book a seat, or splash out on our rocking chair or VIP area (with table service).
– The main shop is accessible to wheelchair users. Vehicles can drop off directly outside the shop at 3 Kensington Place. Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair accessible toilet here. To book a space, a companion ticket, or for any access enquiry, email [email protected]
– Soft drinks and snacks will be available. Please note that Dream Street Records is an alcohol-free venue.
