How the table fees are spent, and what's changing in 2027

From August 2026:

- Table fees are £20 for a 4ft table and £25 for a 6ft table

- There are 7 x 4ft and 10 x 6ft: £390

- Eventaly's fees of 3.50%: £376.35 remaining

- £250 donated to the chosen fundraiser: £126.35 remaining

- Amount for marketing and any other costs: £126.35

- I will not be taking any payment

From January 2027:

- Table fees will be £25 for a 4ft table and £35 for a 6ft table

- 7 x 4ft and 10 x 6ft: £525

- Eventaly's fees of 3.50%: £506.62 remaining

- £250 donated to the chosen fundraiser: £256.62 remaining

- Amount for marketing and any other costs: £200

- Payment taken by me: £56.62

Why I'm making this post:

I've taken some time to crunch numbers and make some decisions about how best to distribute the money raised by table fees for the remainder of this year and for the upcoming 2027 markets.

This is based on feedback received previously and from the feedback I've received so far via the Trader Feedback form on the website (which is live until 31st August 2026). I will do a proper breakdown of that data once the form closes.

Any ongoing donations or subscriptions made to the Ko-Fi will be to cover my time only, so if you are a subscriber please check the Ko-Fi and make sure you're happy to keep supporting!

The text on the trans flag themed slides read:

Slide 1. A reminder about the July Big Gay Market for traders and customers!

Slide 2. It's for trans traders only! If you are a trans trader, you need to make sure your Eventaly profile has the diversity section accurately filled out with the "gender diverse" option ticked. If your profile does not clearly show that you're trans, you will be rejected!

Slide 3. Customers can top up the total! As you know, nearly all of the table fees are donated to a chosen charity every month, and our Trans Pride market is no different. If you're attending as a customer please consider helping us raise the total by donating to Henry () on the day (and to at every other market!)

Slide 4. Until then, happy pride month! And remember: Trans Rights are Human Rights.
