Considering how essential it is for survival, it's surprisingly easy to forget to breath!

So here's your reminder to stop and take a few conscious breaths. If you have capacity, maybe you might also want to check in with your body and your feelings.

This really simple exercise of lengthening the outbreaths is one of my favourite calming techniques. It really helps get me grounded and regulated. I find I ideally need to do at least 3 cycles for it to properly start to shift where I'm at.

Some pictures from my exhibition grid at the To***co Factory | South Bristol’s Community Hub. This will be up until October 5th so do nip in and talk to the bar staff if you'd like to buy anything. The ones at the top are quite large but also very far away. Perspective huh?!

Thanks to Annwen Jones for the pic of me taking a pic, such a cool image! Because of the windows either side it was very hard to get decent photos of the installation on my phone!

(Also special note that some of these dried flowers are 10 years old and sentimental Caroline Aoife Benton ).

A mug like the one pictures has just joined the display to replace a couple of rock pool dishes that sold during the South Bristol Arts Trail.

The other grids in the bar are also occupied with gorgeous work by the other arts trail stall holders, so go check them out over a frothy coffee!
