Bluerock Les Paul Classic finished in Deep Cherry Sunburst Flame.

Designed in Wales and made for exclusive distribution at the legendary Cranes stores, Bluerock guitars offer astounding value for money.

This beautiful single-cutaway riff machine boasts solid set-neck tonewood construction beneath bound flamed maple. The body design features a slightly slimmer waist than the classic Les Paul with some lovely full curvature at the upper and lower bouts and a more pronounced point to the cutaway. Up that rosewood fretboard lie two-tone mother-of-pearl & abalone inlays and beautifully set jumbo frets. There are also vintage-style tulip tuners up top and a range of subtly tarnished gold hardware.

Providing the grunt are two open coil high output humbuckers that capably handle any genre you throw their way.

2015 Epiphone Jeff Waters Signature Annihilation II Flying V & original deluxe gig-bag.

Together with his band Annihilator, founded in 1984, Jeff Waters is one of the most prodigious thrash metal musicians of all time. Renowned for his tight rhythm and sophisticated leads delivered at light-speed, Waters has designed his signature Flying V to encorporate maximum style and performance.

Features include a solid mahogany body, carved to a slightly smaller profile than a typical Flying V, greatly improving handling even during the most violent stage performance. There's also a corrugated rubber pad on the underside, which effectively counteracts the guitar slipping when seated.

Due to the "deep-set" bolt-on anchorage, the neck of Annihilation-II V offers unimpeded playability over all 24 frets of the Phenolic ebony-style fretboard. The "SlimTaper D" neck profile is extremely comfortable, geared towards delivering quick-fire riffs. Classic dot inlays, complemented by the beautifully-set annihilator mascot at the 12th fret ensure perfect orientation.

Under the hood, there's a set of Epiphone ProBuckers. The ProBucker-3 in the bridge position impresses with its crisp, precise sound, delivering leads with cutting force, while the ProBucker-2 in the neck position offers warm mid & bass range.

High-quality hardware completes the package. The strings are guided from the LockTone Stopbar via a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, which ensures a perfect setting of the string action and intonation. The Grover Rotomatics ensure long-term tuning stability.

This guitar is also offered with its original Epiphone fitted V gig bag.

2012 Fender Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar finished in Surf Green with colour-matched headstock.

Brilliant and now discontinued Fender Squier Jaguar finished in iconic Surf Green and laden with Seymour Duncan designed pickups.

The Fender Jag is arguably the Queen of the offset guitars. Released in '62 it was made to compete with Gibson's upmarket designs. This iteration, the Squier VM Jag is faithful to the original design blueprint and comes in at staggeringly good value. A particular delight is the crisp voicing of the Duncan Designed single coil pickups. There's plenty of jangle and sparkle, as befits any Jaguar worth its wood-grain.

This guitar also benefits from a colour-matched headstock, nicely executed by a previous owner.

Phenomenal late 1990s Les Paul from Aslin Dane finished in two-tone Vintage Sunburst over flamed maple.

Another absolute cracker of a Korean-made guitar here featuring one of the finest specs you'll find on a sub £500 guitar. 

Designed and rigorously overseen in New York by David Burns Musical Instruments Inc. The Aslin Dane line of guitars provide luxurious build quality that belies the modest price. This guitar is part of a limited Korean production using the same USA maple and tonewoods for neck and body construction, hand crafted and painted in Korea then shipped to their Long Island shop for final assembly, fretwork and custom setup. Each one hand adjusted before being sent on its way.

Beyond that gorgeous flamed maple aesthetic, there's classic Les Paul set-neck construction, here sculpted ergonomically for unimpeded upper fret access, two belting original Humbuckers, 22 jumbo frets, a fabulous ebony-esque fretboard, quality hardware and one of the finest vintage sunburst finishes you'll find.

2003 Samick Greg Bennett Design Formula FA2 Telecaster Quilt-Top & Hard Case with upgraded Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio & Fender Lace Sensor pickups.

A Gorgeous and substantially upgraded Telecaster designed by Greg Bennett and built by Korean powerhouse Samick, finished in deep trans-blue over quilted maple.

Behind some of the best regarded sub £1k guitars of the past forty years, Samick have carved out a deserved reputation at the uppermost echelon of Korea's guitar industry. With this in mind, this is a damn fine Telecaster, exuding quality and workmanship in all areas. For starters, there's that super-versatile HSH pickup configuration, here supercharged with the addition of a Dimarzio Fast Track 2 rail humbucker at the neck, a Vintage 90s Lace Sensor single coil in the middle and a gutsy Seymour Duncan-designed humbucker at the bridge. These are all authenticated with part numbers/serial numbers available on request. Unfortunately, the Dimarzio Rail isn't audible at present so this will need looking at.

On paper, with this firepower, this is a guitar that should nail just about any genre you can sling its way. There's also a beautifully figured bound maple top, string-thru bridge, a lovely gloss maple C profile maple neck and Grover Rotomatic tuners.

1990 Fender Squier Standard Telecaster finished in naturally aged Blonde with upgraded Fender V-mod American Pro bridge pickup.

A Telecaster with bags of vintage charm, hot-rodded to provide cutting-edge Fender USA tone. Put together in the much vaunted Cort factory in Korea, this guitar, finished in one of the finest Tele colours is a player's delight.

These late '80s/early '90s Squiers are famed for the comfort and finish up the neck. This one doesn't disappoint with the vintage-tint gloss maple mellowing to a slightly satin sheen. There's a full-sized body unlike the later Affinity models, and this guitar also benefits from the addition of a Wilkinson six-saddle bridge. The two pickups sound superb, with the stock lipstick neck pup comfortably at home next to that Fender Pro single coil at the bridge.

There's also some rather lovely natural road-wear to the Blonde finish on the edges.
