Bristol is warming up this bank holiday weekend so our staff have picked the best sunshine reads & perfectly paired them with our freshest wines!

This is only a selection of the gorgeous wines and books we have on offer, so come on down to Stokes Croft to browse and refresh. 🍷

We’re here for you during half-term!

We’re open all week, including Bank Holiday Monday and kids are welcome until 6:30pm.

From 10:30 we’ll open up our lovely and cool downstairs meeting space for you and the kids to relax and read or work on some colouring and activity sheets together. Our booksellers will also be doing storytime readings Mon-Weds at 10:45 am and 2 pm!

There’ll be tea, coffee, wine, beers and soft drinks available as usual, and you can sample our delicious vegan cookies and cakes from @404.bakes.

And for the really young ‘uns, we’ve just installed a changing table in the toilet, so we’ve got you covered there as well.

It’s been incredible seeing so many book lovers coming through our doors already, thank you for all the support.

To celebrate, our team has put together our very first staff recommendations: books we’ve loved, couldn’t put down, and can’t wait to share with you. Whether you’re searching for your next great read or simply browsing for inspiration, we’d love for you to explore our staff picks in store.

We’re also working behind the scenes on our online shop, launching soon, so before long you’ll be able to browse and order your favourite books from the BookCellar wherever you are.

But for now, come by, take a look around, and discover something new from our shelves ❤️
