Hey everyone,
Today I made balloons, the last order for a wonderful dear customer ( who has very lucky children). I have been serving this customer for years and it felt right that this was the last order.
I have always arranged balloons for the everyday person, the hard working families, not the corporates or rich. For the last 2 years, prices have increased, especially balloons ( 5 years ago £10 a bag, now nearly £30), Helium has quadrupled and to insure my use of helium has quadrupled too, alongside every other single thing a ballooner needs.
I cannot justify the price I would have to pay and it means my wonderful customers just couldn’t afford them.
Life has happened and it’s just not easy for my sister in law to be a partner now.
Therefore, after 5 years, we are hanging up our balloon pumps and saying goodbye.
We may revisit, we may not. It all depends on how small businesses are supported moving forwards.
For all of my wonderful customers, many many thanks for all of your orders over the last 5 years, to the customers who have become friends, I’ll see you anyway 🙂
