We’re very pleased to congratulate our regular stall holder and amazing baker, Cory of Crumbs Bakery, for receiving a Lord Mayors Medal in a cermony at the Mansion House yesterday.

Cory was nominated for his charity work and his work amongst the community. He received his medal from the Lord Mayor and Deouty Lord Mayor both of who have tasted Cory’s cakes and told the other medal winners how great they were. Well done Cory! 🏅

Firstly Sorry for this long post 🫣 We were hoping to say a big thank you when we opened up the final Christmas market this morning but it was so manic we didn’t have time 😁 so from the whole market team.

A massive thank you to the whole community who have given the market so much support and help over the past 2 years and give it such a wonderful atmosphere.

Also a huge Thank you to all our brilliant stalls holders and food and drink vendors that come along to support this amazing event and to all the market organisers and volunteers and all their friends and family who put a lot of effort into making sure the markets ready for us to enjoy each month. If anyone wants to join in with helping no matter how much time you can offer please do reach out to us please. you will be very welcome 🤗

When the idea of a local market came about I don’t think anyone could have imagined how popular and successful it would become.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to the community groups such as the amazing choir and Zumba groups that have put on such great entertainment for us all to enjoy 😍 and to Lee for supplying us with power at each market. What a local legend 👏

Whilst we take a well earned break we will review all your feedback and continue to strive to make the market as much fun as possible for you all!

So just one final thing from the Stockwood Market team of organisers and volunteers is to wish you All a very Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎊
