In the last 10 years we've built a fantastic reputation - come in store and see for yourself! This we believe enables us to give the best possible advice in Bristol for your outdoor adventures. So whether you're off climbing in the Alps or the greater ranges, going climbing for the first time, training for your Mountain Leader Award in the Brecon Beacons or going skiing for the first time, we've got staff that will be able to offer friendly, informed and helpful advice. We also like to hear your stories as we learn a lot from customer feedback. On that note, if you have a story to tell, or can advise us on techniques and gear you have used that worked for you, please feel free to drop in...we view customers as friends that we haven't met yet. With clothing and equipment that has been tried and tested by our staff, you can rest assured that wherever you may wander, you will be comfortable, safe and return home with many a tale to tell.

Welcome to Cotswold Outdoor and Runners Need, Bristol! Our Cotswold Outdoor store opened on September 17th 2010 and has become a welcome addition to an already buzzing outdoor scene in Bristol. In August 2017 our Runners Need department opened in store, and since then our expertise in running has grown and developed. In the last 7 years we've built a fantastic reputation - come in store and see for yourself! Bristol is such a great city for outdoor adventures; from climbing at Avon and Cheddar Gorge (we always have local guidebooks in stock) or at the local climbing walls, to heading across the Severn Bridge to South Wales or down the motorway to the Mendips, Dartmoor or Exmoor for hiking and camping. There are some wonderful running trails both in and out of the city too! We can advise upon and supply all you need for your next adventure, wherever that may take you.
