Hello Sunny Sunday ☀️
Today I’m sharing a little win: my quick prototype whippet jacket for Luna before Amsterdam! 🧡❄️
Whippets feel the cold, so Luna will definitely be needing a few cozy koala moments for winter and this one turned out so well for a first go!

Here’s what I used (all from Koala Kreations!)
☆ Teddy jacquard fabric in bright, stunning floral blooms
☆ Tubular ribbing for a snug neck band
☆ Cotton jersey lining for extra comfort

Why I’m obsessed with this design:
The neck band can roll down for a shorter, stylish look
And on the chilliest days, it can be pulled fully up to keep Luna nice and toasty

There are a couple of alterations I’ll tweak next time but honestly this prototype turned out good! 🐾

Geri and I have been working our socks off buying the latest, stunning new fabrics for Koala Kreations!

They’re all currently being packed and shipped to us 🚚 but not before a few days at customs first! 😅
So it could be a week or 2 before it lands on our doorstep in Chipping Sodbury.

I’m back in the shop the rest of this week 💛
And all our online orders will be going out first thing tomorrow. Thank you so much for being so patient 🙏

A big thank you to Christine for helping out for 3 days so we could go on this little adventure too

Day 2 of fabric shopping in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and wow… what a day!

We had a seriously successful buying mission, sourcing this season’s Autumn & Winter solid colours and we are obsessed. Think deep rich burgundies, warm browns, deep emeralds, khaki greens, and so much more 🤎🧡💚❤️

And we even squeezed in two supplies warehouse stops 💪 which can only mean one thing… I’ve ordered a LOT of fabric 😅📦

Good morning from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

Me & Geri are officially on a proper buying trip, hunting down the most gorgeous Autumn & Winter collections for Koala Kreations for the next few days. We’re handpicking fabrics the right way!! Touch, feel, and checking the quality, to choose only the best stuff for our store

Our shop in Chipping Sodbury is OPEN as normal while we’re away. But just a quick note: any online orders will be dispatched on Thursday once I’m back in the shop.

Yesterday we spent the day filling our trolley with the BEST new checks 😍 and I cannot wait to share our picks with you! Keep your eyes peeled…
