Not every flooring job is a whole school, office or house. Sometimes it's just a cupboard!

We recently popped into a school to give this little space a flooring refresh, and we're really pleased with how it's turned out.

It might be a small job, but if it makes a space cleaner, smarter and more practical, then it's worth doing.

A fresh start from the floor up. ✨

There's something really satisfying about giving a whole property a new lease of life. We've recently completed a full flooring refresh in this HMO, replacing tired, worn flooring throughout the building with a fresh new finish that's ready for its next chapter.

In shared properties, flooring has to work hard. It needs to be durable enough to cope with constant footfall, practical to maintain, and still create a space that feels clean, bright and welcoming for the people living there.

From room to room, this project has completely transformed the feel of the property, and we're really pleased with the finished result. 📸

A fresh floor can completely change the feel of a room. ☀️

We recently completed this transformation at Fenhurst, replacing the existing flooring with Hay Bale Plank LVT, and we're delighted with the result.

The before and after photos say it all. The new floor has completely lifted the space, giving it a lighter, fresher feel that's perfect for the summer months.

LVT is a brilliant choice for busy homes and commercial spaces alike. It gives you the look of natural wood, while being hard-wearing, easy to maintain, and built to cope with everyday life.

It's always nice to see a before and after... but it's even nicer when it's for a good cause. 💚

We've recently completed some new flooring at Bristol Children's Scrapstore, and we're really pleased with how it's turned out.

The before and after photos show just what a difference new flooring can make, creating a brighter, more welcoming space for the amazing work they do every day.

We've worked with the Scrapstore for a little while now, donating our old carpet and flooring sample books so they can be given a second life through schools, charities and community groups. Being able to help improve their own space as well felt like the perfect next step.

The lovely feedback we received made our day:
"The colour is lovely. We're hoping to do more in the future, and thank you for organising it to be done so quickly."

Not everything has to end up in a skip ♻️

Every so often, we update our carpet and flooring sample books. Most are still full of colour, texture and inspiration, but they're no longer current for our showroom.

Rather than throwing them away, we donate them to Bristol Children's Scrapstore, a fantastic local charity that gives materials a second life through creative play and learning.

The Scrapstore takes all sorts of surplus materials and redistributes them to schools, nurseries, community groups and charities, helping children learn, create and explore while reducing waste at the same time.

We love the idea that a carpet sample that has finished its journey with us might end up being used in a classroom project, an art activity or something completely unexpected!

As a business, we're always looking for ways to do things a little more thoughtfully. Sometimes the small things can make a bigger difference than you realise.

A big thank you to the team at Bristol Children's Scrapstore for the amazing work they do in our community 💚

This job started with a packet of dog biscuits... 🐶👀

No, really.

Let's just say that sometimes business development doesn't always happen the way you expect!

We've recently completed new carpet and flooring at the Markson offices, giving both the office space and kitchen area a much-needed refresh.

The new flooring has completely smartened up the space and created a brighter, more welcoming environment for the team. It's always satisfying to see how much of a difference new flooring can make, especially in areas that get used every single day.

This was a lovely project to be involved with from start to finish, and we'd like to say a big thank you to everyone at Markson for choosing us.

And as for the dog biscuit story... we'll leave that there for now 🐾

Marmoleum is one of the most underrated flooring products out there 👀

Most people think flooring is simply a case of choosing a colour and fitting it.

With Marmoleum, there's so much more you can do.

Borders, patterns, zoning, geometric designs, bespoke inlays... it's one of the few flooring products that gives you the freedom to get really creative and make a space completely your own.

We've used it in hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, offices and all sorts of commercial spaces, and we're always amazed by the different ways it can be brought to life.

Messages like this never get old 💛

One of the nicest parts of running a business is hearing that a customer is happy with not just the finished floor, but the whole experience along the way.

Choosing new flooring can feel like a big decision, and we know it often takes time to find the right fit. That's why we never mind answering questions, bringing samples, measuring up, or helping people work through the options until they're completely comfortable with their choice.

From the first conversation through to the final fitting, our aim is always to make the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.

It's amazing what a floor can do for a space ✨

This hallway and bathroom have had a complete refresh with a beautiful Marmoleum design, and the transformation speaks for itself.

The previous flooring had seen better days, but with a bit of preparation and a carefully chosen Marmoleum floor, both spaces now feel brighter, fresher, and far more welcoming.

One of the things we love about Marmoleum is that it's practical without being boring. There are so many colours and designs available, which means you can create something that's both hard-wearing and full of personality.

Corridors don't have to be boring 👀

We've recently completed these corridors at Global Vans using Paragon Vivid carpet tiles, and what a difference it's made.

The previous flooring had certainly done its job, but it was time for something a little more practical and hard-wearing to cope with the day-to-day traffic of a busy workplace.

Carpet tiles are a fantastic option in commercial spaces. They're durable, easy to maintain, and if a section ever gets damaged, individual tiles can be replaced without having to redo the whole floor.

We're really pleased with how this one has turned out, and it's given the space a much smarter, fresher feel.
