As a supporter of local Bristol makers, we wanted to share something special with you. Nicola Explores recently went behind the scenes to document the final days of one of our city's most iconic crafts.

For centuries, the deep cobalt glow of Bristol Blue Glass has been a symbol of our city’s craftsmanship, recognised all over the world. But as many of you know, an era has come to a heartbreaking end.
In our latest documentary, we visited the studio one last time to capture the final hot floor session. It was a moving experience to see the team, who feel more like a family than coworkers, putting their heart and soul into their craft, even as the furnaces were being turned off for good.

It is devastating to see such rare skills and heritage disappear from our streets. This documentary is a tribute to the people who kept the flame alive since 1988 and a look at why we must support our local makers before they are gone forever.
