How to overcome troubles and trials in the Family?
1.Know and understand that there are troubles and trials in this world that the family may have to face and can overcome them in Christ Jesus, because He Has overcome the world and its troubles and trials.
John 16:33:
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
James 1:2–4: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
Joshua 1:9: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Isaiah 26:3: "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
2. Love one another with the guide of:
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
3. Pray Together: set a time convenience for everyone to pray together: (Philippians 4:6–7)
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
4. Show grace: Give grace and forgiveness to each other like the way God Has.
Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
5. Stay focus: Trust in God's word, and speak God's word over your family and keep your eyes above the troubles and trails.
Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
