This OM guitar was made by Bristol based luthier Felix Cowper. Sadly Felix passed away before he was able to finish it. I feel honoured to be chosen to complete this instrument with the aid of the meticulous plans Felix left behind. This commission has given me the opportunity to have a dialogue with another maker through the making of a shared object. Through this dialogue I have been given the opportunity to develop my craft in directions I would not have previously considered. It's fascinating to know it is possible to transfer skills through an object and I feel extremely privileged to be the recipient of this posthumous knowledge.
