How awesome are these favours made by Evelien Verndonk to celebrate the birth of her baby son! Evelien told us that;
"In Belgium it is a custom to give sugar-covered chocolate sweets to every visitor when a baby is born. You can buy many different kinds of boxes or containers, especially designed for this purpose. (search google images for "doopsuiker" for examples). The containers can be relatively expensive, and they are too small to really be of any use once the sweets are eaten. So most people throw them away eventually (or they end up at the back of a drawer). Sometimes, a small gift is attached to the box (a keyring, a pencil, ...), and those too are always expensive and rarely useful to the receiver. I didn't want to give out something that would only be thrown away, so I came up with the idea of folding boxes with your paper. The box in itself becomes a little gift, and can be planted and used."
We think they are absolutely awesome little presents all made from Eden's Paper. So so cool. Congratulations Evelien!
