Our sweet little girl, Élodie 🤍✨

She arrived safely into the world early February and we've been absolutely besotted ever since 🥰

After so long waiting for a little one to join us I'm relishing the time away from work to soak up every moment with her. It's full on, of course, but the love alone makes it all absolutely worthwhile 💞

It's time for me to sign off from here for a little while 👋🏼

I'll be taking some time off over Christmas to enjoy the festive season, and after I've consumed *all* the Quality Street possible to make up for the lack of red wine and prosecco I'm allowed 👀 I'll pretty much be on maternity leave. It's come around so quickly, but I'm definitely ready to take it easy and start putting all my energy into preparing for our little girl's arrival in the new year 🌸

I won't be taking on any new bookings or replying to emails while I'm off, but on my website you'll find links under my contact page to join a waiting list for wedding stationery and branding design for 2024 onwards. I'll be in contact as soon as I'm back to work ☺️

And finally I just wanted to say a *huge* thank you to all the wonderful clients I had the absolute pleasure of working with this year. It's been an incredibly proud 12 months for me professionally and personally, and I really hope you all manage to look back on 2022 with your highlights in mind ✨

I'll be back sporadically to check in and say hi, but in the meantime have a magical Christmas and a wonderful 2023 🥰

Monday moodboard 📷

I don't know where the days are going but the end of this year seems to be absolutely flying by! I can't keep up.

I've got a couple of branding jobs to finalise over the next few weeks including one belonging to this lovely little moodboard for a luxury retreat company. If I close my eyes and ignore the washing machine downstairs I can almost pretend I'm on a retreat right now 🧘🏼‍♀️😌

Adding some curves to your stationery design is a great way to add a modern feel to your big day. These menus are printed on biscuit coloured card - the perfect way to compliment those warm, seasonal colour palettes 🍂

The first episode of our podcast is live! 🎙️✨
photography and I wanted to create a space where we could talk about the rollercoaster of being self employed and how we manage our personal lives together with work we're so passionate about. Spoiler: there's very rarely a perfect balance, and this podcast is all about embracing that.

It's a place where you can hopefully relate to our low moments and realise you're not alone, but also a place to celebrate the highs that come with running your own business and personal achievemens - no matter what industry you're in.

We really hope you enjoy listening. It's a lot of fun for us to create, and something we're not taking *too* seriously, so please don't expect perfection from us 😂

One of my favourite parts of my branding projects is coming up with the names for the colour palette. This lovely little collection included snow, almond, cornflower, twilight and slate ☁️

We've started a podcast!🎙️✨

It's been over a year in the making but last week .photography and I finally sat down and recorded our very first episode of Soul Employed; a podcast all about the highs and lows of being self-employed and how our work is intrinsically linked to how we feel about ourselves and our well-being.

We *all* have bad days, we all face problems we have no idea how to fix, and we all have our doubts when it comes to confidence. All of this feels even more heightened when you're working for yourself, by yourself (especially while staring at a screen that makes others look like they're absolutely bossing it 🫣) We hope that by talking about all these issues honestly and openly we can overcome those wobbly days together, making our work and personal lives a hell of a lot more enjoyable 🎉
