Today our brand-new sign went up! We’re thrilled to welcome customers old and new to Bookmarked, your one-stop-shop for books and bookish events. We’re in the same spot, we’ve just freshened up the paint – and we’ll be adding a splash of colour inside soon, too. This marks the beginning of our new chapter as Bookmarked as we say goodbye to Max Minerva’s.

Hot off the press!🔥

What started off as a collection of our most recent acquisitions, turned into an unintentional pink and blue stack! Nonetheless, here are some of the most recent books that have made their way to the bookshop as of late.

From the latest instalment in William Boyd’s espionage series and R.F. In September, we will be discussing The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler: a classic noir that follows a cynical private investigator, Philip Marlowe.

LAST MINUTE BOOK CLUB REMINDER!📖

On Wednesday the 9th of September, our Contemporary Fiction book club will be reading The Correspondent by Virginia Evans: Winner of the 2026 Women’s Prize of Fiction.
