Bookhaus is partnering with London-based production company The Big House The Big House to give away 2 free tickets to Blaze FM!

Blaze FM is the pirate radio station airing from a council flat in Hackney, blasting the airwaves with new music and uncensored political perspectives. Grime MC Jammz and James Meteyard's play fuses Grime, Garage, and Drill into a story of survival and subculture, as in the midst of court orders, DTI signal cuts, and outright attacks against Black music, the Blaze family fight for their right to exist.

The Big House, the production company creating world-class work with care-affected young people in London, made their Edinburgh Fringe debut with Blaze FM, and are now bringing the fire from the studio to Bristol Old Vic between 29 Sep - 3 Oct.

On the 2nd of September we are lucky enough to welcome Frank Ashwood as he introduces us into the hidden, wondrous world of soil!

An illuminating exploration of connection and communication, we meet pioneering plants and minute animals that are essential to the health and well being of our planet! Celebrating the launch of his book ' The World Beneath Our Feet', Frank Ashwood will take us on a tour through the precious ecosystem, from the ancient forests of New Zealand to the vast black soil deposits of the US and China.
