Tapestry of Black Britons

We have a new exhibition in our darkroom at the Arnolfini - two beautiful tapestries celebrating the lives of Black Britons, and to accompany it, we have a limited run of the pictures posters for £6 each.

We Are Family: Let’s Make Art Easter holiday workshops!

Arnolfini will be hosting a series of workshops this Easter with Let’s Make Art, exploring some of Barbara Walker’s drawing techniques and the materials she uses. Prepare to get messy!!

Barbara Walker - Being Here

Travelling from the Whitworth Gallery in Manchester, Barbara Walker’s exhibition ‘Being Here’ opens TONIGHT at the Arnolfini!

Known for her ‘intensely observed and empathetic’ work that ‘creates space for Black presence, power and belonging’, Walker is a monumental figure in contemporary art - and we’re so excited to be hosting her work!

‘Being Here’ will be at the Arnolfini until the 25th of May, and you can pick up a copy of the catalogue (£25), a poster (£6), or a postcard (85p) at the Arnolfini Bookshop during your visit.
