Over the past year we've spoken to hundreds of people and worked with communities from across Bristol to understand what they want from Castle Park.

The message was clear: people want a park that feels safer, more welcoming, better connected and full of life.

We're now developing proposals and would like your feedback before designs move to the next stage.

This Sunday (9 Aug) our Greening Eastside Community Organiser, Jose, is running a practical training course for for anyone who wants to help make Easton and Lawrence Hill greener, healthier and more connected.

Whether you're already leading a project, volunteering with a local group or simply have an idea you'd like to bring to life, this session will introduce practical community organising tools that can help you engage others and build collective action.

No previous experience is needed, just an interest in making a difference in your neighbourhood.

Old Market stops are not affected.

If you travel by bus through Bristol city centre, it's worth checking whether your journey will be affected by changes coming into effect from 30th August.

Twenty-five bus services will be using different routes and stopping at new locations around Broadmead, so take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the changes before you travel.
