It’s been a busy summer, so we need to take a moment to celebrate Braxston and Marley, who finished their six-week FixX programme during the holidays. 🔧🚲

They didn’t just turn up — they really got stuck in. Both stripped, repaired and rebuilt two bikes, picking up new skills and growing in confidence along the way.

And with two bikes refurbished and ready to ride away, they’ve got something pretty special to show for all their hard work. 💪

Bike of the Week 🚴🏼‍♂️ Do you remember The Bristol Bike from Jake’s Bikes? We were donated a frame and fork, so tricked it out with Shimano Deore 💪🏼🛠️ £285 ono 18in frame, test rides always welcome. Quality always assured with our 30 point pre delivery inspection once a bike has been refurbished and it’s an ethical purchase as any profit goes back into our community work 😊

We have 8 Dr Bike Slots available at our 5th Birthday Party in our workshop Sat 12th Sept 🛠️ Your bike will get 30 minutes in the stand with a professional mechanic providing a safety check and up to £15 of free bits if needed, this could be a new brake cable, or pads, or grips, or fixing a puncture, but spaces are limited, so msg to book now to avoid disappointment 🚴🏼‍♂️
