How to get free plants from the local pond?

🌿🐟 Don’t be that guy.

See a pretty pond plant at your local park and think, “Ooh, that would look nice in my garden…”?

Nope. Put the shovel down, mate. 😂

Taking plants from ponds and parks can damage habitats, disturb wildlife, and leave our little wetland ecosystems worse off. Those plants aren’t just decoration — they’re food, shelter, hiding places and homes for all sorts of creatures. 🐸🦆🐟🦋

So admire them. Photograph them. Give them a respectful nod.

Just leave the plants where they are. 🌱

🚨 POV: You’re about to feed the fish… but the Pleco thinks it’s HIS dinner. 😂🐟

🎬 Tank goes quiet…

🐠 Cardinal Neons: “Stay calm… don’t make eye contact.”

🟠 Clown Loaches: “Everyone back in the cave!”

🐅 Tiger Barbs: “We were never here…”

🌈 Mollies: “Yes, Your Majesty.”

✨ Neon Barbs: awkwardly bowing

Then, out of the darkness comes the Bristlenose Pleco… looking like he owns the tank, the food, the cave… and probably your house too. 😤👑

Meanwhile, he’s thinking:

“I don’t chase fish… I simply remind them who’s in charge.”

The funniest part? Five minutes later he’s happily munching on an algae wafer like nothing happened. 😂
