Today was a bit different to my usual day…

One minute I’m running a book campaign, the next minute I’m in a Batmobile with Exeter Batman driving around town saying thank you to some of the amazing people who have supported the Feeding Tummies & Minds campaign. 🦇🚗

For those who haven’t heard about it yet — the idea is simple. Foodbanks help feed hungry tummies, and this campaign helps feed young minds by providing brand new books for children whose families use Exeter Foodbank . 📚

Turns out superheroes don’t just save Gotham… they also help deliver thank-yous.
And honestly, everyone who has donated so far — you’re the real heroes. ❤️

I honestly don’t know where to start… the kindness and generosity shown towards the Okehampton Promise School fundraiser has been overwhelming 🥹💛

That final push will allow me to provide mindfulness and calming books to the children at Promise School - books that can help bring comfort, reassurance and a little sense of calm during a time of change.

💛This feels close to home 💛

I keep thinking about those children.
80 pupils at The Promise School in Okehampton walked away from their safe, familiar environment overnight after the recent fire.
For children with SEND, routine isn’t just routine — it’s security. It’s safety. It’s knowing what comes next.
I can’t rebuild their school. But I can try to put something small and meaningful into their hands.

I’m raising £500 to give each child a sensory or mindfulness book — something calming they can keep at home, something that helps them understand their feelings and find reassurance during a time of change.
It’s just over £6 per child. A small gesture that could mean a lot.
