And so begins the great re-mounting. All my earrings came off their display cards, to be individually kept inside inert storage over the winter. Now it's time to get them all back on the cards and replace the secure backs to make sure they are safe and paired for you lovely peeps come fair day.

It's one of the more tedious jobs,and takes an age, but if I didn't the adhesives in the pulp card and the silicon stud would react with the silver plate and would tarnish it.

Morning everyone,

It's been a while since I last posted. As you know I'm not doing many fairs this year, but I will be at Sligachan Hotel THIS THURSDAY, from 11am.

Hopefully some of you can pop along and see myself and other amazing crafters. I'm looking forward to catching up with folks, I might be a bit rusty on the communication front lol I've hardly seen a soul for months, but I'm feeling much more like my old self and only had one wobbly MCAS episode so far this month, so the new meds are amazing.

So, Eliza needed a studio which has meant I have had to vacate my space as it has the best light... We are huge book lovers in our family, we carted 2 and a half thousand books across the UK and to Qatar and back over the last 30 years. Here on Skye there was space to finally have our own library, but if I'm honest I don't have time to use it. So, brutal reality hit! Many, many of the books have been rehomed 😭😭😭. Wee Toaty Things is now moving into what used to be the library, what a guddle the house is in, but we will get it sorted and she will thrive!

Onwards and upwards. Time for Eliza and her art to take over!

Morning everyone. If you are looking for something fun to do out of the wind and rain there's a Craft Fair at Dornie Hall today from 10 until 4pm, lots of great local crafters and you might spot a celeb or two across at the castle too!

Unfortunately my Wee Toaty Things isn't going to be at the fair, but depending on if I am able to drive, my leg is till a bit swollen, Eliza and I might go for some tea and cake and a catch up with the gang!

Today was an unexpected printmaking day. I should have been cleaning the house, but after a lovely breakfast with a good pal, I decided to have a fun day instead... I can clean the house anytime, but days when I have enough energy, and the hands actually do what they are told, are becoming a bit scarce! So make prints while the sunshines!!
I'm still learning but I've a few to choose from now...

Had a fun night doing collage at Create last night and this morning it was all about the lino again.

Had a bash at lino cut printing today at Rag Tag n Textile with the very excellent tutor Sarah Coorie.

What a marvellous way to spend the day. Feeling much more confident in using the tools and how much ink to use.

Made up this wee picture from imagination, and I'm no artist, but I'm pleased with how it turned out.
