A "lonely bench" often represents a place for quiet reflection, or in many communities, serves as a "Happy to Chat" space to combat social isolation. These benches are designed to encourage conversation between strangers and reduce loneliness, often placed in parks to create a welcoming, social focal point.

Our bench is called the buddy bench and would love to advertise this as a place for families to come and sit and have a chat. It is also a place for them to come and reflect if their loved ones have resided or are resting with us.
