3 Common Framing Mistakes People Make 🤓
A beautiful piece of artwork can easily be let down by poor framing choices. Here are three of the most common mistakes we see:
Choosing a Frame That's Too Small.
Many people focus solely on fitting the artwork, forgetting that the frame and mount are part of the overall presentation. Giving your artwork room to breathe can make a huge difference to its impact.
Using the Wrong Glass.
Not all glass is created equal. Standard glass can create reflections and offers limited protection. Depending on the piece, specialist glazing can reduce glare and help protect against fading caused by UV light.
Matching the Frame to the Sofa.
It might sound strange, but your frame doesn't need to match your furniture perfectly. A frame should complement the artwork first and the room second. The right frame enhances the piece rather than disappearing into the décor.
