It's getting sweaty in Bruton!

Feeling very autumnal (dare we say wintry?) in Somerset today but in this glorious weather has been busy delivering to an exciting addition to the Bruton community.

Wonky wood sale!

Firewood might be the furthest thing from many of our minds right now (apart from maybe cooking over fire or a fire pit) but Chucks Wood Ltd is running a summer sale!

Logs from our tree work sites (shout out ) are the same lovely dry hardwood and if anything even more locally sourced.

By nature of them being hand cut though, even our talented saw people are prone to a little human error and the logs are a little irregular in length. Mostly between 8-11 inches; they are still excellent fuel, just a little less beautiful in the stack.

This limited supply of logs will be sold at £130 inc VAT and local delivery. Or double up and get a whopping 2.4m3 for £250! Last season, 1.2m3 was £150, that's a £20 saving!

Using the Easter weekend to tidy up the garden? For orders placed over the long weekend, Chucks Wood Ltd will be placing a 10% discount on van loads of wood chip. This makes each van load £135 inc VAT and local delivery. A £5 discount will be applied to orders of bagged woodchip for those looking for smaller quantities. This offer expires at midnight on Monday so get your orders in asap!

Available in two forms, our ‘green woodchip’ is ideal for pathways and ground covering whilst our ‘woodland mulch’ has been allowed to decompose further and is ideal for adding nutrients to flower beds and mulching trees.
