We’re very lucky to be in such a lovely location in the grounds of Ely Cathedral today.

It’s already roasting hot (although I’m not a hot weather person) there’s live music, plenty of delicious food vans, gorgeous artisan stalls and of course some local handmade spirits in the form of Saragusta!!

Entry to the outside market is free, tickets needed for inside the cathedral. We’re here today until 9pm and tomorrow until 4.30pm.

This Saturday you'll find us at the Alconbury Weald Community Association Food Festival from 12 - 6pm.

Entry is free and they have loads going on including 14 food trucks and stalls, non-food stalls, bar, live music, kids entertainment, an aircraft fly-by and a huge Community Art Project!

It's looking like the weather is going to be much better so it's time to come out of hibernation!!

Just a quick reminder about the two brilliant events you'll find us at in the next couple of days.

A couple of cracking events coming up this weekend…

You’ll find Shey on St Neots market square this Friday, 4.30-8.30pm serving drinks and offering tasters and bottles for sale.

On Saturday, we’ll be at the all day alongside a massive variety of local artisan traders as well as entertainment, food and fun for the whole family.

The weather is due to be lovely and thankfully not as baking hot (which is no joke inside a gazebo, let me tell you).

This gorgeous cocktail is about to come off our our Mixology Hub on our website to make room for something a bit more in keeping with the sunnier weather. But to make sure you don't miss out on the recipe, here it is...

🍒60ml Black Cherry and Vanilla Rum
🍒15ml black cherry syrup
🍒2 dashes bitters
🍒2 black cherries
🍒Bar spoon of simple syrup
🍒Garnish – black cherries, orange peel

Toss the cherries and the simple syrup into a jug or mixing glass and muddle them gently. Add everything else along with ice. Stir with a bar spoon (about 30 seconds). Strain into a glass. Garnish with the cherries and some orange peel.

Top tip - if you can't get black cherry syrup, use a dark berry cordial. Or failing that, throw in a few extra black cherries before muddling.

Seems like our lovely village of Buckden is going to be a hive of activity tomorrow! Buckden Waterside & Marina and are both holding open days at one end of the village and at the other is the Friends of Buckden Towers annual Plant Sale at Buckden Towers.

You'll find us in the grounds of Buckden Towers this Saturday 16th May offering tasters from our two ranges of spirits with bottles and gift sets available to buy and take home with you. We'll be next to Lauren from so once you've covered off the horticultural part of the event, pop over for some delicious treats in the form of spirits, chocolate or cakes!

Check out our beautiful new bottles for our core 'Saragusta Range'!! We did love our previous bottles but for many reasons, they were becoming too difficult to continue using. So we took the decision to go for a redesign and, honestly, we couldn't be happier 😍.

Our new bottles are so eye catching - we've kept the key colour for each bottle as well as the interior image on the back, but given it a modern, more vibrant twist. And the positive feedback we've had at all the events we've been at recently has blown us away ☺️.
