Unfortunately cheaply made British pianos often never had great material and this soundboard is a good example that. Poor design and poor material. We will redesign this and use the finest Sitka spruce.
This truly will be better than the day it was new.

Proud to have worked on this 1960’s Bechstein model M for a lovely customer. The polyester finish had crinkled and the sound deteriorated over the years. So a new finish, new strings and new Abel natural felt hammers, have totally transformed her.

The parts, shipping and import fees from USA were huge. Hidden costs customers have no idea of but allows as to operate at this level.
